University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN’s) pro-chancellor and chairman of the institution’s Governing Council Nsukka, Engr. Kayode Ojo, has commiserated with President Bola Tinubu over the death of predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.

He also commiserated with the deceased’s family, the government and people of Katsina State, and Nigerians over the former leader’s exit.

He said, “The late President Buhari was a man with many qualities that include humility, sincerity, hard work, patriotism and perseverance, among others.”

Ojo, in a statement he issued to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, described the death of the former Nigerian leader “as one death too many.”

Buhari’s death has undoubtedly created a vacuum within the Nigerian leadership that would be difficult to fill, he said.
