Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has declared open the three-week orientation course for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Corps Members.

The event took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Dazigau, Nangere Local Government Area.

Speaking at the event, Governor Mai Mala Buni, congratulated them on the successful completion of their academic pursuits and warmly welcomed them to Yobe State, for the one-year mandatory national service.

Represented by his deputy Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, Governor Buni commended them for accepting their deployment to the state. He urged them to contribute meaningfully to the development of Yobe State and Nigeria at large.

He assured the corps members of the state government’s unwavering commitment to their safety and general welfare throughout their service year.

The governor also charged them to take the orientation programme seriously, noting that it would equip them with valuable experience needed to become independent and self-reliant in a rapidly evolving world that demands innovation and perseverance for success.
