Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, has donated a house worth N7 million to the children of the late Mohammed Ali who was accidentally killed by a military truck in Damaturu a few weeks ago.

The family also received a cash donation of N2.5 million from the governor as well as a pledge of supporting the basic education of the children.

Presenting the cash and the documents of the house to the children of the deceased on behalf of Governor Buni to the family through the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin El-Kanemi, the special adviser to the governor on religious affairs, Ustaz Baba Gana Mallam Kyari, sympathised with the children and prayed for the deceased to have Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Kyari urged the widow to take heart, adding that the cash and other support were not enough rebate for losing their loved one but a social protection in a tough economic era caused by the removal of fuel subsidy by the federal government.
