Yobe State Governor Hon Mai Mala Buni has summoned the head of the state’s security agencies ahead of the North East Governors Forum (NEGF) meeting in Damaturu.
The meeting was meant to sustain collaboration among the security agencies and other stakeholders and ensure that the governor’s meeting was hitch-free and peaceful.
Governor Buni, who was represented by his Deputy, Hon Idi Barde Gubana, expressed confidence that the occasion would be conducted peacefully through a synergy with the security agencies and stakeholders in the state.
The governor thanked the security agencies and traditional and religious leaders for restoring the state’s peace, law, and order.
Also, speaking, the commissioner of Police Yobe State Command, CP Emmanuel Ado, and the Special Adviser to the Yobe State governor on Security Matters, Brigadier General Dahiru Abdulsalam (Rtd), explained that the security operatives would be deployed to provide proactive security measures in the state capital.
He further appealed to the people of Yobe State to continue supporting the security agencies by providing necessary Information, especially regarding the gathering.
