Burna Boy Breaks New Ground With $1m Gross From Single Oceania Concert

Afrobeats icon Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has broken records as the first African artist to earn more than $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.

The Run My Race singer is now the first African artist in history to earn more than $1 million from a single concert in 3 continents.

Burna Boy accomplished the feat during his No Sign of Weakness tour at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on 18 October 2025, which grossed $1.117 million.

Global tour monitoring platform, Touring Data, also noted that Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ tour broke the record for “the highest-grossing tour in Oceania’s history, by an African artiste, earning $3.1 million.

The Touring Data detailed that the Australian part of Burna Boy’s tour sold 30,946 tickets across four shows, at an average price of $100.94 per ticket, with proceeds averaging $772,791 per show.
