Business Summit Partners UWEAL To Empower African Entrepreneurs

The second edition of the annual Stability & Sustenance Business Summit has entered into a strategic partnership with Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Association Limited (UWEAL) to empower African entrepreneurs.

The Business Summit with the theme, “Empowering African Entrepreneurs; Building Stable and Sustainable Futures Through Entrepreneur Education” is, therfore, expected to provide theoretical and practical business solutions, growth and scalability.

Line up of speakers and mentors at this year’s summit scheduled to take place place on the 7th and 8th of August this year at the hotel Africana in Kampala, Uganda includes business professionals, coaches and investors from United Kingdom, Nigeria, Uganda and other countries.

Leading the speakers track is United Kingdom based investor and businessman, Rishi Harani, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Univesco Limited. Others are Connie Kekihembo, Chief Executive Officer of UWEAL; Jesca Ahimbisibwe, Director, Women in Film Organisation Uganda; Dorothy Nabunjo, Director, Karizm/Xenson Art Space; Melody Fidel, Founder, Stability & Sustenance; Judith Onwerumaru, Chief Executive Officer, Stability & Sustenance among others.

According to Connie, “The objectives of Stability and Sustenance business summit aligns with the mission of UWEAL where we build, empower women entrepreneurs, create opportunities and advocate for favourable business policies for women in Uganda.”

Participants and beneficiaries of the business summit will include SME owners, startups and creatives, entrepreneurs, students, freelancers, content creators, NGOs, donors, policy actors, civic leaders and more.

Melody stated that, “the Stability & Sustenance Summit is a dynamic 2-day gathering designed to empower SMEs, entrepreneurs, creatives, and institutional leaders with the tools, knowledge, and networks needed to build sustainable businesses and systems. The team is excited to be in Uganda.”

In 2024, Stability & Sustenance held its maiden annual business summit in Abuja, Nigeria where hundreds of participants benefitted as mentees – receiving business grants and continuous mentorship.
