Bwari Youths Congratulate Jisalo, Wike On Ministerial Appointment

The Bwari Indigenous Youth Network (BYN), has congratulated  Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo over his appointment as minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as FCT minister.

The group in a statement signed by the coordinator, Chigudu Tanko Theophilus pledged their support towards the development of indigenous communities.

He said the appointment of Jisalo, an FCT indigene does not only reflect his outstanding capabilities and dedication but also symbolizes a significant step towards “an inclusive and representative government”.

He expressed confidence in the capacity of both to enhance the lives of the natives.

He commend Hon. Jisalo’s leadership skills, vision and commitment to serving the interests of FCT natives diverse indigenous communities over the years.

“Your appointment has instilled a renewed sense of hope and optimism among our youth in Bwari Area Council and FCT at large. We firmly believe that with your conscientious approach and determination, positive changes will be made to enhance the lives of our people” he said.

The group assured the government of its resolute and unflinching support in all endeavors, “to work collaboratively in order to achieve our common goals”.

He highlighted that the network, through her various initiatives, strives to address issues such as access to quality education, scholarships, youth unemployment, healthcare services, infrastructural development and environmental protection.

He said, “We are keen on fostering dialogue and creating platforms for young people to actively participate in decision-making processes that directly affect us. We believe that sustainable progress can be achieved by actively involving the youth and empowering them as responsible agents of change. We firmly believe that by working together, we can make a substantial difference and create a brighter future for everyone.

“Once again, congratulations on your well-deserved appointment as the first minister from the FCT. We are confident that under your leadership, our dear FCT and Nigeria as a whole will experience positive transformation and prosperity.”
