Caritas Communications Announces Leadership Transition, Appoints Akintan As COO

Caritas Communications Limited has announced a leadership transition and appointed Favour Akintan as chief operating officer, effective August 1, 2025.

The company said that as part of the changes, Chief Adedayo Ojo would move from his role as chief executive officer to chairman of the company’s board of directors. In this new capacity, he will focus on providing strategic direction and enhancing corporate governance.

On her part, Favour Akintan, previously the group head of Business Services/operations manager, brings over 12 years of experience in operations, marketing, and business leadership and will lead the management team.

Other changes in the management team include the appointment of Adedayo David Odulaja as the director of Research, Policy/Programmes, overseeing research and policy alignment with clients’ objectives, while Fisayo Ayodele was appointed director of Strategic Communication, responsible for strategy development and media management.
