Cashew Day Conference To Drive Farmers, Investors’ Aspirations – Association

The National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) has said that the 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference is designed to open new opportunities for stakeholders across the sector, with national interest and collective industry advancement placed at the centre of deliberations.

In a statement signed by its national president, Dr. Ojo Joseph Ajanaku, NCAN said its national executive, was working closely with state chapters, is fully aligned and committed to delivering a landmark event capable of driving reforms and creating long-term value for the industry.

According to the association, the conference is expected to serve as a rallying point for farmers, processors, exporters, investors and development partners, while strengthening collaboration along the entire cashew value chain.

The event is scheduled to hold from January 22nd–24th 2026 at the Shehu Musa Ya’Adua Centre, Abuja.

NCAN expressed confidence that discussions and resolutions from the conference would contribute meaningfully to improving productivity, investment flows and market competitiveness in the sector.

The association also expressed appreciation to stakeholders for continued trust, noting that their engagement remains critical to achieving sustainable growth in Nigeria’s cashew industry.

It assured both local and international partners that the outcomes of the conference would make participation worthwhile and impactful.

“The interest of Nigeria and the collective advancement of the cashew sector remain our utmost priority. The National Executive in collaboration with all State Executives is fully aligned and committed to delivering a landmark conference that will signal a new beginning for the cashew industry.

The 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference will serve as a catalyst for meeting the aspirations of cashew farmers, processors, exporters, investors, and development partners, while strengthening collaboration across the value chain,” the statement reads.
