As part of its goal to close the eight percent gender gap in financial Inclusion, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), in collaboration with the Gender Centre of Excellence (GCE), has said it will be unveiling two significant reports titled: the “Situational Analysis of Women’s Financial Inclusion in Nigeria” and the Midline Evaluation of the Framework for Advancing Women’s Financial Inclusion in Nigeria (FAWFIN).

The reports are set to be unveiled at a virtual launch on June 15, 2023, the apex bank said in a statement yesterday. The event will feature a keynote address by the deputy governor, financial system stability and chairperson financial inclusion technical committee Mrs. Aishah Ahmad. The reports will provide valuable insights into the current state of women’s financial inclusion in Nigeria and assess the progress and effectiveness of FAWFIN.
