NSCC director general, Dr Emem Omokaro made the commendation when she paid a courtesy call on the governor at the Government House yesterday in Birnin Kebbi.
She said if other states can emulate Kebbi, their negative narratives would have changed for the better saying that she was happy Kebbi State government is not owing any pensioner.

Emem also said the centre was currently mapping older people across Nigeria, adding that investment in the older people is an investment in economic growth and development of the nation.
She urged Kebbi State and other state governments to domesticate the National Senior Citizens Act and commended President Muhammadu Buhari for putting the senior citizen in the front burner by accenting to the Act and constituting the board of the centre.
