The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Ministry for Religious Affairs and Ethical Orientation, Hon. Alhaji Yusuf Umar Potiskum, assured the beneficiaries that Governor Buni will continue to assist the Christians in the State.

He also solicited their prayers and support to enable him to succeed in the task ahead of him.

In his goodwill message, Emmanuel Degubi urged the Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace and prosperity and also to ponder on the teachings and lessons of Christmas by exhibiting good virtues at all times.

Degubi appealed to the entire people in the North-East region and Nigerians at large to embrace peace during this Christmas celebration so that the country will continue to develop, adding that peace brings progress and development.
