Adamawa State governor, Umaru Fintiri, has expressed deep sadness over the death of an elder statesman, Senator Muhammad Mana.

The governor said, Senator Mana lived a life marked by service, sacrifice and dedication to the cause of nation-building.

He said Senator Mana proved his capabilities “From his illustrious military career where he rose to the rank of Colonel, to his stewardship as Military Administrator of Plateau State where he distinguished himself as a disciplined officer and patriotic leader.

“In 2007, the people of Adamawa North found in him a worthy representative and sent him to the Senate on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). There, he carried out his legislative duties with humility, dignity and an abiding commitment to justice, fairness and development.

“The passing of Senator Mana is a huge loss not only to Adamawa State, but to the entire nation.”

He condoled with the family, the people of Adamawa North Senatorial District and all Nigerians who mourn this irreparable loss.
