Wife of Kebbi State, Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir, has shown compassion to widows of fallen mobile police officers.

She described their late husbands as heroes.

Represented by Hajiya Uwani Usman Ankwai, she visited police barracks in Birnin Kebbi, providing support to the families.

“We pray that God grants the departed officers mercy for their sacrifices,” Hajiya Uwani Ankwai said. “We urge the widows to maintain their children’s moral and educational upbringing.” The first lady donated ₦5 million and 500 bags of rice to the Mobile Police Barracks and Police Barracks.

CSP Usman Shahu, representing the state commissioner of police, commended the first lady’s kindness. Mrs Hannah Dogo Son and Mrs Nachana’a Usman, representing widows and POWA, thanked her for the relief items. “She’s a kind-hearted personality, enhancing our welfare and Christmas celebration,” they said.

The gesture was seen as a boost to police morale, with the first lady thanking officers and families for supporting the administration.
