A civic engagement group, the People’s Roundtable (TPR), has hosted a programme that brought together leaders from government, the private sector, educational institutions and civil society to address Nigeria’s pressing challenges through practical, solution-driven dialogue.
The event, which had over 1,000 persons in attendance, was aimed at bridging the nation’s knowledge gap by connecting ideas to action.
Curated by Emmanuel Ayantayo and hosted on The People’s Roundtable platform, the gathering created a shared space where policymakers, professionals, educators, and citizens could exchange lived experiences, explore collaborative solutions, and chart realistic paths toward national development.
Stakeholders from across sectors engaged in conversations aimed at fostering long-term collaboration, promoting youth participation, and translating policy discussions into implementable outcomes.
Throughout the sessions, speakers emphasized that while dialogue is essential, progress depends on actionable steps that can be realistically piloted and improved over time.
The focus remained on unbiased, practical solutions that, though not always perfect, could generate measurable impact in the long term.
