Civil Service Currently Undergoing Reforms – HOS

Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, has said that the civil service is currently undergoing significant reforms which are aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

Yemi-Esan who spoke at the Jumaat service held as part of activities to commemorate the civil service week in Abuja, said the reforms which include the adoption of new technologies had reached advanced stage.

The head of service who was represented by the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr Sanni Gwarzo, stated that Nigerians would see a digital civil service very soon.

“Yes, this year, we have a special event that has many folds of blessings. One is that the civil service has undertaken bold steps towards reformation, and I think and I am proud to say that we have reached a critical stage in that reform process.

“This is the right time to celebrate the success so far recorded. Also, the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President, the Head of Service of the Federation, has realigned the civil service reform towards the Renewed Hope Agenda. We are in a digital age, you will see a digital civil service very soon,” she said.
