Senior pastor of Zion Flames Ministries, Apostle Momo Promise, has said Nigeria’s prolonged hardships are coming to an end and proclaimed the beginning of a new season for the country.
Momo made the declaration yesterday during a chat with journalists at the Christmas service at Zion Flames Ministries in Lagos.
He said the Christmas season signalled a fresh beginning for Nigeria and expressed confidence that the nation would witness a turnaround from now through the 2027 general elections.
“For Nigeria, this is a new dawn. It is a fresh beginning. We are trusting God that from this celebration of Christmas until the 2027 elections, there will be a great turnaround,” Momo said.
He insisted that the years of oppression, suppression and affliction in the country were drawing to a close, adding that God would usher Nigerians into a new season of relief and restoration.
The cleric thanked God for life and survival amid the nation’s challenges, noting that the Christmas celebration was a reminder of God’s faithfulness despite difficult times.
Momo explained that Christmas represents God’s intervention in human affairs through the birth of Jesus Christ, whom he described as the ultimate source of hope and freedom for mankind.
He cautioned Christians against reducing Christmas to mere festivities, warning that an excessive focus on food, drink and material displays could overshadow its spiritual significance.
