Conveners of this year’s Miracle and Healing Conference in Abuja, Dr Femi Bajomo and Dr Mina Bajomo, say a major feature of the gathering would be prayers for national transformation and improvement in the country.
Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja yesterday, Dr. Bajomo said the conference would provide an opportunity for believers to seek divine intervention for Nigeria and pray for peace, healing and economic recovery.
“We will pray for the country, we will pray for the betterment of the country, for things to continue to improve in the country and for the Lord to keep the country safe and secure,” he said.
According to him, Abuja was chosen as venue because of its strategic position as Nigeria’s capital city.
“Abuja is the centre point of Nigeria. Any prayer raised here in Abuja will spread all over the country. People are coming from the four corners of Nigeria as well,” he stated.
Bajomo acknowledged the economic difficulties facing many Nigerians but expressed confidence that God would bring restoration and hope.
“Yes, there is economic hardship, but the Lord’s economy is above it. There is nothing impossible for God,” he said.
He explained that the conference would also address issues relating to Christians in business and the marketplace, with speakers sharing practical experiences to encourage participants navigating difficult economic realities.
“We will have people who will speak about their work and businesses so others can benefit from their wealth of experience,” he added.
The cleric said the conference would feature healing sessions, prayers, worship and teachings centred on love, unity, transformation and healing.
“We work with all churches and denominations because unity is one of the watchwords of the ministry,” he said.
He noted that the event would be broadcast globally through online platforms and viewing centres across Nigeria and other countries.
“Whatever is happening in Abuja will be transmitted to the rest of the world. People participating from Kaduna, Lagos or even outside Nigeria can receive healing and share testimonies,” he said.
He further revealed that the ministry had recorded testimonies of healing during both physical and virtual meetings.
“People get healed through Zoom, through phones and during online programmes. We have seen mighty testimonies,” he said.
Also speaking, Dr. Mina Bajomo said the conference was designed to bring emotional, spiritual and inner healing to people weighed down by anxiety and uncertainty.
“A lot of people are carrying burdens, anxiety and challenges. As we yield ourselves to God, He removes those burdens and transforms our hearts,” she said.
She described the ministry as one built on “love, unity, transformation and healing,” adding that participants would experience the unconditional love of God throughout the programme.
“With the current challenges in the country, taking three days out to immerse yourself in the love of God will definitely do people good,” she said.
Mina Bajomo added that many people attending the conference often experience peace, healing and renewed hope.
“When people come for the conference, they experience an atmosphere of love and joy. Some people realise for the first time how deeply God loves them,” she said.
The conference is expected to host international ministers, with some participating physically in Abuja while others will join virtually from different parts of the world.
The three-day conference, organised by Lapis Lazuli Ministries, is slated for June 25 to 27, 2026 and is expected to attract participants from across Nigeria and around the world.
Ministers expected at the conference include Dr. Randy Clark, who will minister virtually; Pastor Bill Johnson, also ministering virtually; Dr. Tom Jones; Pastor Jean-Luc Trachsel; Dr. Leif Hetland; Dr. Katherine Ruonala; and gospel artiste Prospa Ochimana, among others.
