Nigeria In a remarkable display of support, the Coalition of Tinubu/Shettima Support Groups, kogi State Chapter has officially endorsed Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin (Rtd), the former Chief of Naval Staff, as their unanimous candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State, scheduled for November.

During a meticulously organized event that extended over several hours, leaders representing various support groups conveyed their enthusiasm for Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin’s gubernatorial candidacy under the Accord Party. They emphasized the imperative of launching an intensive mobilization campaign to garner votes in support of his candidacy.

Dr. Fred Attah, Chairman of the support groups, took the opportunity to address both party stakeholders and the multitude of supporters who congregated in large numbers to witness the occasion. Dr. Attah underscored the commitment of the coalition to replicate the unwavering dedication and vigor that had propelled Bola Ameh Tinubu and Kasim Shettima to victory in the previous presidential election in Nigeria.

Emmanuel Folorunso, Secretary of the support groups, articulated the rationale behind their decision to endorse Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin (Rtd). He cited Jibrin’s exceptional technical expertise, widespread national acceptance, and an insatiable thirst for development as the compelling factors driving their endorsement. Folorunso stated unequivocally, “We have no reservations about our endorsement, and we are resolute in our determination to demonstrate this commitment in the field.”
