Commendation Service For Oguntona Holds Tomorrow

First Baptist Church, Area 11, Garki, Abuja, will tomorrow hold a commendation service in honour of Reverend John Adebayo Oguntona.

Oguntona, a former president of the Old Boys Association of the Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta, Ogun State died on November 10 at the age of 81.
The commendation service will herald the burial slated for Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Otun Baptist Church, Otun, Shaki, Oyo State at 10am

There will also be a service of songs and Christian wake on February 1, 2024 at the Oguntona Compound, Ade Oguntona Lane, Ajegunle, Shaki, Oyo State.

Oguntona, a teacher, administrator and development specialist, as a consultant, was behind the establishment of the framework for the National Commission for the Non Formal, Mass Literacy and Adult Education by the federal government.
