Also, NCFRMI in partnership with the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, organised a medical and surgical outreach to the interfaith Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp at Gurku community in Maraba, Nasarawa State.

Federal commissioner of the agency, Aliyu Ahmed, while speaking at the IDPs camp yesterday said that the outreach is part of the NCFRMI health project tagged, “Health Without Borders” to cater to the health and wellbeing of IDPs and refugees across Nigeria.

On his part, the director of Human Resources Management, NCFRMI, Bello Muhammad Bello, during the donations in Keffi stated that the commission remains committed to supporting refugees, IDPs, returnees, migrants, and stateless persons.

Bello stressed the pivotal role of host communities in providing refuge, adding that the commission extended its assistance beyond IDPs to include these communities.
