According to him, the beneficiaries were empowered with funds for the improvement of their different skills acquisition programmes such as poultry, fish farming, bakery, carpentry, tailoring/fashion design, POP and computer.

Dr Utono expressed delight that the beneficiaries have now become self-reliant after utilising the assistance they received from the state office which was approved by the managing director of N-HYPADEC, Abubakar Sadiq Katikan Yauri.

He noted that his office also was liaising with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to secure certificates for the beneficiaries in order to operate freely in their businesses in the state.
