Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, on Monday, led a high powered delegation of the Gombe State Government on a condolence visit to the Waja Chiefdom and the family residence of his late Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Col. “We have lost one of our finest and most committed team members. Col. Abdullahi Bello made a lot of sacrifices in his lifetime. He sacrificed his life for the nation during his military career. And even after his retirement, he returned to Gombe state to offer his experience in the service of our dear state as a Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs. Even when this tragedy occurred, he was on his way returning from a security meeting in Maiduguri”, the Governor stated.

He was buried in your presence. In fact, we met there and you personally condoled with me. But you felt that wasn’t enough. Here you are today in this palace to condole with us again. We shall remain eternally grateful”, Bala Waja said.
