CONECDA Commends Tinubu Over Assent To North Central Devt Commission Bill

A group known as Conference of Autochthonous Ethnic Communities Development Association (CONECDA) has commended President Bola Tinubu for assenting to the North Central Development Commission Bill.

According to CONECDA, the development is highly commendable, as the new commission will see to the improvement and speedy development of the North Central region of the country which has suffered neglect over the years in terms of infrastructure, human capital development and environment.

Speaking with journalists, the national president of the group, Paul Dekete and national youth coordinator, Peter Bahu, appreciated the National Assembly for passing the bill some months ago and all stakeholders who gave their support, leading to the assent on Tuesday.

They also appealed to the president to appoint competent hands that will run the affairs of the Commission towards the attainment of the set objectives for the interest of the people of the region.
