Controversy has continued to trail the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in Delta State.

While the immediate past vice chairman, Udu local government council and special assistant to the commissioner for Water Resources, Justice Iyasere, has expressed displeasure with his exclusion from the PDP Campaign Council of Delta State, Victor Ojei, popularly called Wong Box had to reject his inclusion in the Media Publicity Team on Delta PDP Campaign Council.

In an open letter addressed to the Delta State PDP chairman, Ojei based his rejection on the larger public he represented.

“I say thank you for this wonderful media opportunity to serve the people of Delta State through the platform of PDP. I happen to be the CEO of a news/media company with thousands of followers all over the world on social media platforms like Facebook, tiktok, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.

“I am also the public relations officer with Delta State Coalition of Civil Societies NGO’s and Media on COVID-19 Task Force, this also positions me to have a duty of care for the masses interest generally. It will be unfair if I am to represent sectional interest of the people.

“Thank you once again for finding it worthy for me to serve as a media professional in the Delta State PDP Campaign Council.”

However, lyasere noted that his non-promotion by the leaders of the party was worrisome and a slap on him.

He disclosed that the PDP had, over the years, neglected him and his professional expertise in many activities in the state.

‘’My worry is that if I can be neglected at this stage, when the time comes for appointments, there will be nobody to remember me and get me into government.
