The duo, a court registrar at an Upper Sharia court, Hudu Idris has been demoted by one grade level and placed on compulsory retirement with immediate effect while a security guard Abba Gwarzo’s, contract appointment has been terminated.

Spokesperson of the Kano State Judiciary, Baba Jibo, said the action was taken following a petition filed by Alhaji Bozo, and upon completion of the investigation, they admitted to having received the bribe.
In another development, the JSC lifted the suspension of three officials, Bilya Abdullahi, Auwalu Khalil, and Ismaila Garba, due to insufficient evidence regarding an alleged forgery of a court reversal order and have been, however, warned to desist from any unethical practice.
