CSO Trains 300 Varsity Students On Digital Skills

A Civil society Organisation, TechHer has trained over 300 students of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Coal City University, Emene, to help them navigate digital spaces safely. 

Speaking at the training, Dr. Omeje, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, expressed belief that by equipping the students with digital safety and social media advocacy skills, the institution was preparing them to become responsible and influential voices in a digital world.

“Students must comprehend both the opportunities and challenges that accompany active participation in social media.”

In her remarks, Project Coordinator, Achenyo Ochijenu emphasised the importance of utilising all digital platforms to passionately advocate for the Enugu of their dreams while ensuring their online safety.

“Over the years, we have witnessed the transformation of the lives of ordinary Nigerians through the power of social media, impacting individuals from politics to entertainment. Therefore, we must extend this transformative potential to Enugu and Nigeria, shaping the future we aspire to see.
