The national public relations officer of the service, Abdullahi Maiwada, in a statement titled: “Nigeria Customs Service Issues First PAAR Under B’Odogwu Trade Management System,” the platform will streamline customs procedures and enhance trade facilitation.

The NCS said the issuance of the first PAAR followed the recent strategic engagement between the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso.

Maiwada, an Assistant Comptroller of Customs, said at the meeting between the Customs CG and the CBN governor, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to seamless trade processes, enhanced revenue collection, and improved financial integration.
