Daddy Freeze Defends Peller, Says Many Critics Can’t Afford Bride Price

Media personality Daddy Freeze has come to the defence of TikTok star Peller, arguing that many of those mocking the content creator lack the financial means to pay a bride price.

Daddy Freeze, born Ifedayo Olarinde, made the remarks while reacting to Peller’s decision to marry fellow influencer Jarvis at a young age.

Speaking during a recent video broadcast, he said marriage should not be viewed as the ultimate measure of success. However, he maintained that being financially capable of taking on the responsibilities of marriage at a young age is an achievement worthy of recognition.

“Marriage itself is not a measure of success, but being able to afford it at a young age like Peller is,” he said.

The broadcaster also took aim at some of Peller’s critics, saying many of those who describe the TikTok star as an “olodo” or accuse him of creating “brain-rot” content are not in a position to shoulder the financial commitments that come with marriage.

His comments come after Peller and Jarvis announced that they are set to tie the knot on August 1, 2026, a development that has generated widespread reactions across social media.
