He reminded the family members that there was no known justification for the action of Ubi, hence, the Command has promptly arrested him to answer for his misdeed.

He informed the family that the Police Commissioner, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali, was unwavering that justice will be served as the internal disciplinary process, which has already commenced, will be concluded speedily as a prelude to the arraignment of the culprit without delay.

He reiterated that the Force as an institution do not and will never cover or defend any of its personnel who acted outside their rules of engagement or get themselves involved in any act of criminality.

The family, in response, appreciated the concern that the Police Command have shown so far, maintaining that all they wanted from the Command leadership was justice for their slain son.
