Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after being involved in a fight with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix.
According to ABC News, citing a source familiar with the incident, the altercation began after another inmate allegedly made a remark to Diddy, prompting a confrontation between the two.
Following the incident, prison authorities placed the music mogul in solitary confinement, the source told the outlet.
It is not yet clear whether the isolation is a temporary disciplinary measure pending further investigation or whether Diddy will remain in solitary confinement for an extended period.
The report did not disclose the nature of the disagreement or whether either inmate sustained injuries during the altercation.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after being convicted of transporting individuals for prostitution-related offences.
Neither the Federal Bureau of Prisons nor Diddy’s’ representatives had publicly commented on the reported incident as of the time of filing this report.
