Diewait Ikpechukwu’s Daughter Demands AGN Remove Death Announcement

Chiamaka Ikpechukwu, daughter of the late veteran Nollywood actor Diewait Ikpechukwu, has called on the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to immediately remove its social media post announcing her father’s passing.

In an emotional video posted to her Instagram page, Chiamaka appealed to the guild and members of the public to stop sharing her father’s picture and death announcements, stating that the family should handle the official news.

“Please take down the post. Let me be the one to announce my papa’s death,” she said. “Nobody should call me, nobody should post my daddy’s poster.”

The appeal follows an official tribute posted by AGN National President Alhaji Abubakar Sanusi Yakubu on Friday, following the actor’s death on Thursday, November 5, after a prolonged illness.
