Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, will preside over the launch and a one-day seminar for the Nigerian Sports Yearbook.
The event will take place at the Olumo Hall, Radisson Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, at 12 noon.
Organisers confirmed that Dikko will be joined by other prominent sports dignitaries. The seminar will also feature discussions on post-retirement planning and sustained relevance for athletes.
The Nigerian Sports Yearbook, a comprehensive chronicle of Nigerian sports achievements and team performances, has been compiled by experienced professionals with extensive knowledge of the sector.
The launch is expected to attract leading sports administrators, athletes, and stakeholders. This collaborative project is a joint effort between the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria and O & I Contact Ltd, a book publishing agency.
