‎Donald Trump has verbally attacked American singer Bruce Springsteen, claiming he “looks like a dried-up prune”.

‎Trump shared a scathing post on his social media page, Truth Social, on Thursday, the day after the musician shared a stirring statement on stage during the opening night of his E Street Band’s Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour in Minneapolis.

‎During his speech, Springsteen declared: “While working Americans struggle, our president and his family enrich themselves by billions of dollars trading on the people’s office in corruption unmatched in American history. This is happening now.”

‎”This White House is destroying the American idea and our reputation around the world,” he added.

‎Clearly angered by the singer’s words, Trump has now attempted to clap back, writing on his social media platform: “Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS.
