Nollywood actor, Okon, nee Bishop Umoh, has warned animal rights activist and president of My Dog & I, Jackie Idimogu not to incite the west against Hilda Baci, who is waiting on the World Guinness Record, to verify her feat as the longest cooking marathon by an individual, with her. Competitors have been known to lose the World Guinness Record title based on technical errors.

Okon statement is in response to the activist’s accusation and berating of the Akwa Ibomite chef, for eating dog meat, which she said is cruelty against animals.

Baci had earlier posted a picture of herself sharing some cooked meat with a male friend in at a restaurant that sells dog meat.

Okon responded by saying “before you begin inciting western hatred against Hilda you should first of all know that there is no proof that the meat on the table is dog meat. Secondly, even if it is dog meat, Akwa Ibomites and Cross Riverians eat dog meat and there is nothing wrong with it. They don’t eat pet dogs but wild dogs.”
