Nigerian actress and entrepreneur, who recently transitioned into politics, Doris Ogala, was taken to the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia on Friday after reportedly collapsing during a consultation.

Videos circulating on social media showed the actress losing consciousness earlier in the day. She was subsequently rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

She was stabilised and later shared an update on her Instagram page:

“I was rushed to FMC Umuahia. I lost consciousness. Glory to God, I am stabilised now.”

At the hospital, she was seen in a wheelchair, speaking with patients and staff. Videos showed her praying with patients and covering their medical bills. She said it was a directive she believed came from God.
