Adekoya Ibukunoluwa, an alleged lover of media personality Frank Edoho, has filed a defamation lawsuit against his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.

‎‎According to reports, the lawsuit stems from alleged Instagram posts made by Sandra linking her to an extramarital affair with the media personality.

‎Documents dated July 17, 2026, showed that Adekoya, through her lawyer, Festus Ogun of FOLEGAL, accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of privacy, alleging that she published false and damaging content about her on Instagram.

‎‎Adekoya alleged that in November, 2023, Sandra impersonated Frank Edoho on WhatsApp and invited her to the Edoho residence in Lagos under the guise of a N10 million offer. She further claimed she was taken to the residence by someone posing as Frank’s brother, who allegedly locked her in a room, and that Frank later apologised after discovering what had happened.

‎The claimant added that following the breakdown of Sandra and Frank’s marriage, Sandra shared her photograph, private WhatsApp conversations and a video on Instagram, portraying her as one of the several women allegedly involved with Frank.

‎She maintained that the publications were false and malicious, claiming they subjected her to public ridicule, cyberbullying and reputational damage after they were widely circulated.

‎‎In the suit, Adekoya is demanding that the court declare the posts defamatory, order Sandra to delete them, issue a public apology, restrain her from making similar publications in the future, and award her N100 million in damages and legal costs.

‎‎Her legal team also proposed an out-of-court settlement, requiring Sandra to delete the alleged publications, issue a public apology, and pay N20m in damages.

‎‎The legal team gave Sandra seven days to respond to the allegations or risk legal action.

‎‎Recall that after his first divorce, Edoho married Sandra Onyenucheya, and they remained together for over a decade, during which they welcomed two children.

‎‎This brought Edoho’s total number of children to five.

‎During the heat of the crashed marriage, reports alleged that his second wife had cheated with a popular singer.

‎‎In May, Frank released a statement about his crashed marriage, thanking the public for their support and saying he had emotionally come to terms with it. He made it known that he is well, focused and at peace.

‎‎Following his statement, a leaked audio recording of Sandra and her rumoured boyfriend, Chike, circulated online. In the audio, his wife was telling Chike about the issues she was facing in the marriage and her husband’s suspicion about them. She said their marriage was falling apart, and Frank was probing her about their relationship.

‎‎Speaking out, Sandra, in a series of Instagram posts, accused him of serial infidelity and emotional abuse. She alleged that he had an affair with BBNaija star Tega Dominic, Mbong Amata, and other socialites. She claimed he frequently disappeared for days, misused her finances, and brought other women into their home.

‎‎Amid the scandal, Frank said the allegations against him were false and expressed sadness at innocent individuals who were dragged into the issue and tendered an apology to them. Frank said this is a difficult period, especially for his children, and he respectfully asked that their privacy be protected.
