It was gathered that the sealing of the clinic is as a result of the death of a woman who was admitted last week in the clinic.

LEADERSHIP learnt the death of the woman as a result of surgery supposedly performed by a doctor in the hospital sparked mixed reactions around the area.

Residents of the community attributed the death of the woman to surgery poorly carried out by the alleged quick doctor which has subsequently raised concern about his medical specialty.
Sources in the community who confirmed the incident said the action by the DSS was a response to a complaint by some members of the area to the Plateau State Ministry of Health.

A resident, Sadis Muhammad Albasu, who shared the account of the situation.
said, ‘’The primary reason for sealing the hospital is the alleged quackery activities at the clinic, which came to light after a woman’s death following a surgical procedure there.”

“The issue is that the doctor who carried out the surgery is not a qualified medical doctor; in fact, he is not a doctor at all, and therefore lacks the necessary skills to perform surgical procedures.
