A Dubai-based Nigerian realtor and former employee of Tigers Properties LLC Dubai, Abimbola Joseph Olupaiye, has denied allegations of fraud made by certain online media platforms. In a recent interview with our correspondent, Olupaiye narrated his ordeal and expressed shock and disbelief at how he was portrayed in a negative light.
It was alleged that Olupaiye was involved in multiple cases of land fraud in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and was currently being prosecuted for obtaining money through fraudulent misrepresentation. However, Olupaiye debunked these allegations, stating that he was never caught in any fraudulent activity, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was never after him or prosecuted him at any time.
Olupaiye described the allegations as “not only malicious but defamatory” and demanded an immediate retraction of the allegations and a public apology from the online media platforms within 48 hours or face legal actions.
As a reputable Nigerian realtor in Dubai, Olupaiye explained that the allegations have since had a negative toll on his image and business, and he is determined to clear his name. He emphasized that he was never served by the EFCC or any other anti-graft agency in Nigeria or anywhere in the world, and the allegations were baseless and lacked empirical evidence to back them up.
It is crucial to note that Abimbola Joseph Olupaiye has denied all allegations of fraud made against him and demanded a retraction and public apology from the online media platforms. As this story develops, we will continue to follow and report on any updates.
