One of the foremost real estate companies in Nigeria, Dukiya Investments, on Thursday, held its second Dinner and Award night to celebrate its staff and investors for the year 2022.
Hosting the show was a talented and leading comperé, Osundare Damilare popularly known as Asiri Comedy, who thrilled the audience with his hilarity and comic presentation at Lilly Gate Hotel, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.
The beneficiaries of the Toyota Camry salon car presents were Samuel Arogundade and Jolomi Dolapo.
Other beneficiaries who got all-expense-paid foreign trips were Ganiyu Idris and Kehinde Moses for the South African expedition while Ayodele Oluwatobi, Ezenduka Lynda, Olaoluwa Awolaja, Temiloluwa Cole and Okoko Wisdom got Rwanda voyage.
Also, Ezenduka Lynda, Kehinde Moses and Salami Oyindamola were also awarded with Laptops for their assiduousness.
Both co-founders presented the gifts to the beneficiaries amidst fanfare and applause from the bystanders and guests in the hall.
Speaking after the presentation, the co-founder and head of business, Lukman Shobowale, appreciated the staff members for their steadfastness, adding that the duo that got car gifts were outstanding in their respective units.
“I thank you all for your commitment and I know that we will do more in 2023. Dukiya Investments would be nothing without your collective works and efforts. These gifts are just to appreciate you for your devotion and to let you know that we see all you’re doing for the company’s growth.
“Three years ago, we had a dream beyond our establishment. Lawal and I resolved to award cars to our outstanding staff members. It took us time to plan and work in its direction but thank God, it has come to fruition today,” Shobowale added.
During his own presentation, the co-founder and Head, Strategy and Growth, Bayo Lawal, said what the investors and staff have witnessed today is one of the promises of the firm being fulfilled.
“This is just the beginning. We have always valued our staff members because we know that we can’t be here without their efforts. They are the oil through which the engine of our organisation survives. These prizes are just to charge them to do more.
“We appreciate everyone who has taken their time to grace this grand occasion and we appreciate our investors, clients and business associates for trusting our brand. This is just a tip of the iceberg. 2023 will be massive,” Lawal stressed.
Sharing his testimony and appreciation to the management of the firm, one of the beneficiaries of the car prize, Samuel Arogundade, said if anyone had told him that he will own a car before the end of this year, he would have argued his way out to convince the person that he has no reserved fund to get that done now, adding, “It was a delight to hear my name as one of the beneficiaries of the car prizes. I thank the management of Dukiya and I promise to always put all my best to promote the core values of our organisation.”
Speaking, Ganiyu Idris, a beneficiary of the South Africa trip said he’s proud to be associated with Dukiya, corroborating that being a staff of the establishment is one of the gifts God has blessed him with.
The investors and guests also received different prizes and consolation gifts from the event.
