Eagle Schnapps Celebrates Ojude Oba In Solidarity With Awujale

Eagle Aromatic Schnapps from the stable of Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL), has celebrated this year’s Ojude Oba with the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

During a courtesy visit to the paramount traditional ruler at his Ijebu-Ode palace ahead of the festivities to introduce the new look Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and flag-off participation in the iconic festival, the IDL team felicitated with Oba Adetona for building Ojude Oba into an iconic global brand that draws participants from all over the world.

IDL’s Insight and Category Manager, Mr. Tofunmi Opaleye, who led the team, commended Oba Adetona for upholding the rich tradition and cultural heritage of the Ijebus, and noted that Eagle Schnapps’ long partnership with the Awujale’s throne is very significant.

Also speaking at the grand Ojude Oba which culminated with the two-day Eid-el Kabir celebration on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29, June 2023, IDL’s Regional Sales Manager, Lagos 2, Mr. Dele Adeyemi, commended the Ojude Oba organising committee for sustaining the spirit of the festivities marked by glamour and excellence.
