The International President of De Norsemen Kclub International (DNKI), Chief Oliver Patrick, has felicitated Christians in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of the 2026 Easter celebration.
In a statement issued by the organisation’s International Publicity Secretary, Darlington Anugom, Patrick described Easter as a season of sacrifice, hope, and renewal, rooted in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He said the period calls for reflection on the virtues of love, humility, and selflessness, which he noted are essential for both personal growth and national development.
Patrick stressed that the lessons of Easter remain relevant in addressing contemporary challenges facing society, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and unity.
“As we commemorate this holy season, we are reminded that after every trial comes victory, and after every sacrifice comes glory. Nigerians must remain steadfast, hopeful, and united in the face of adversity,” he said.
He also called on leaders at all levels to imbibe the spirit of selfless service, integrity, and compassion in governance, noting that such values are critical to building a just and prosperous nation.
The DNKI president further urged citizens to promote harmony, support national development efforts, and extend acts of kindness to the less privileged during the festive period.
He reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to service to humanity, promotion of moral values, and the advancement of peace and unity in Nigeria and beyond.
