In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof Robinson Onoh, commended the governor’s wife on her dedication to the well-being of women and children across the state.

Prof. Onoh applauded her gesture of offsetting the medical bills of the indigent patients, disclosing that some patients had spent time at the hospital after their discharge due to their inability to pay their bill which he noted was capable of exposing them to more health risks.

The CMD urged other well-to-do individuals in the state to emulate the Governor’s wife by coming to the aid of other indigent patients trapped in the hospital.
