A support organisation, Victory Voice Support Group, Edo State chapter, has congratulated the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his victory at the just-concluded primary election of the party.

In a statement signed by the chairman, Hon Lagazuma yesterday in Benin, the group called on supporters of various aspirants of the APC to bury the past and work for the success of the party at the poll.

While expressing delight over the nomination of Hon Dennis Idahosa as running mate to the governorship candidate of the party, the group said with the coming together of the two political gladiators, winning the election is a concluded matter.

Lagazuma added that the organisation is determined to ensure the party records a resounding victory, and as such, it is embarking on a house-to-house campaign in their bid to bring massive votes for the APC governorship candidate.

The group described Senator Okpebholo, popularly known as Akpakomiza, as a purposeful and resourceful leader who has a clear vision for the future of the state.

“He is a man who can leverage resources effectively to ensure that the projects are evenly distributed without discrimination. We are rooting for him because he is a man who is focused on the welfare of our people; this can be attested to by his attraction of federal projects to his senatorial district as a Senator,” the group stated.

Lagazuma further described the APC governorship candidate as a beacon of hope, a protector of people, a value keeper and an anchor of stability, even as he said the people of the state are eagerly waiting to vote out the PDP-led government out of the state.
