Disclosing the breakthrough, the anti-graft agency on behalf of the chairman, Abulrasheed Bawa, said “their arrest followed several months of surveillance on their suspected involvement in romance scam, fraudulent crypto currency transactions and impersonation.”

According to the command, items recovered from them include, several laptops and mobile phones, and vowed that they will be charged to court as soon as Investigations are concluded.

EFCC, therefore warned students of tertiary institutions to be wary of untoward lifestyles and shun bad company to avoid their future being truncated as relevant sections of the law would be invoked in the process of getting suspected criminals to face the law and be punished if found culpable.
