National chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda has felicitated all Muslims across the country for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

Yilwatda in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Communications Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, said Ramadan is not merely a period of abstinence but a sacred journey of the soul—a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.

“Over the past month, millions of faithful have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the values of faith, patience, and selflessness. These virtues are not only essential to our spiritual growth but are also foundational to nation-building.

“As we celebrate Eid, we must carry forward the lessons of Ramadan into our daily lives, embracing unity, extending kindness to one another, and upholding justice and fairness in all our dealings.

“At a time when our nation continues to navigate complex challenges, the spirit of sacrifice and collective responsibility that Ramadan instills in us remains more relevant than ever,” he said.

Yilwatda commended President Bola Tinubu for his steadfast leadership and resilience in steering the affairs of the nation, adding that his administration continued to take bold and necessary steps aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic stability, and national cohesion.

“Leadership, especially in times of transformation, requires courage and vision, and I urge all Nigerians to continue to support the President in his quest to build a stronger and more prosperous country,” he added.

Similarly, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu extended his heartfelt congratulations to all Muslims in Nigeria and all over the world on the successful completion of their month long fast and prayers which culminated into Eid-el-Fitri.

In Sallah greetings signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu wished all Muslims peace, prosperity and unity.

He enjoined them to continue reflecting on the values of sacrifice, compassion, resilience and optimism, assuring that the government is working tirelessly to address the challenges of the nation.

Kalu who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State also said that the parliament remains committed to legislative actions that will enhance the living standard of the people.

He charged the Islamic faithful to keep imbibing the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SWT) and continue praying for unity and peace in the country.

“Warm Sallah greetings to all Muslims. As we celebrate this joyous occasion, I extend my heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity, and unity.

“Let us reflect on the values of sacrifice, compassion, and resilience that define our great nation. As we face economic challenges, let us remain steadful and optimistic. The dawn of a brighter tomorrow is near.

“The government is working tirelessly to address the nation’s challenges, while the parliament remains committed to legislative actions that drive economic growth, create opportunities, and improve the well-being of all Nigerians. The parliament stands firmly on the side of initiatives and policies that will move our economy forward.

“To every Muslim and indeed, all Nigerians, I say may your sacrifices be accepted, your prayers be answered, and your hopes be fulfilled. May Allah bless Nigeria and guide us all towards a brighter future,” Kalu added.
