Ejuke On Premier League Clubs Radar

Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke could be heading to the Premier League this summer, despite a largely underwhelming debut season in La Liga.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, several mid-table English clubs have been closely monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation at Sevilla for months, and they are now considering making a move when the transfer window reopens.

The interested parties believe Ejuke’s raw attributes—blistering pace, close-ball control, and a fearless approach in one-on-one situations—are tailor-made for the physical and transitional nature of the Premier League.

Scouts have reportedly noted that his explosiveness off the mark and ability to beat defenders in tight spaces could thrive in England, even if his end product has yet to catch up.

Sevilla, for their part, are not opposed to cashing in. The Andalusian club is undergoing a squad rebuild and is eager to improve its financial standing.

If a suitable offer arrives—likely in the region of €8–12 million—they would be willing to part ways with the Nigerian, who arrived on a free transfer just last year.

Ejuke joined Sevilla in 2024 after his contract with Russian giants CSKA Moscow expired. The move was initially seen as a shrewd piece of business by the Spanish side, but the winger has struggled to cement a regular spot.

In 24 La Liga appearances this season, he has managed only one goal and one assist—a return that has left fans and pundits questioning his consistency.

Nevertheless, Premier League suitors are reportedly undeterred. They see Ejuke as a low-risk, high-reward signing: a player with top-flight experience across Russia, the Netherlands (on loan at Heracles and CSKA), and now Spain, who could be revitalized by a fresh challenge in England.

For Sevilla, his departure would free up wages and open the door for new signings as they aim to climb back into European contention.
