Kim Scott, the former wife of rapper Eminem, was reportedly arrested after an incident at her Michigan home that began as a medical emergency.
According to reports, officers responded to the residence after a family member called 911, saying Scott had injured herself and was holding a knife. The caller later told dispatchers that the knife had been taken away after Scott lost consciousness.
Police claimed that when officers arrived, Scott became confrontational. She allegedly resisted attempts to take her into custody. Authorities said she bit one officer on the forearm, shouted at officers to leave her home, and later kicked another officer after being subdued with a Taser.
Scott was subsequently arrested on allegations of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
Following the incident, she was taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan, for medical treatment. Her current condition has not been made public.
Scott and Eminem had a famously turbulent relationship, marrying twice before ultimately divorcing in 2006. They share a daughter, Hailie Jade.
