Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has described the relationship between Nigeria and Sudan as long standing and if fully harnessed would bring about progress and development.

The Emir made the disclosure yesterday at his Palace when the Sudanese Consul called on him to introduce the  new Sudanese Tarko Airlines which he said will be a blessing to Nigeria and Kano in particular.

The Monarch who described the long existing rapport between Kano and Sudan as cordial since time immemorial assured that Kano Emirate and its peers will not relent in their efforts towards strengthening the ties.
