Emir Bayero Lauds Kano, Sudanese Cordial Relationship

Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has described the relationship between Nigeria and Sudan as long standing and if fully harnessed would bring about progress and development.

The Emir made the disclosure yesterday at his Palace when the Sudanese Consul called on him to introduce the  new Sudanese Tarko Airlines which he said will be a blessing to Nigeria and Kano in particular.

The Monarch who described the long existing rapport between Kano and Sudan as cordial since time immemorial assured that Kano Emirate and its peers will not relent in their efforts towards strengthening the ties.

He stressed the need for concerted efforts so as to boost the socio-economic status of the two countries.

Earlier, the Sudanese Consul in Kano Muhammad Yusuf Abdulmannan informed the Monarch that his country has enormous respect for Nigeria and the Kano Emirate in particular.

He said historically Kano and Sudan share many things in common both economically, religiously among others, hence won’t  be separated.

He called on people of the two respected countries to coexist peacefully with one another and share common knowledge in both Western and Islamic perspectives.
